So apparently somebody made a Spells R Us movie in all but name. And as the trailer and IMDB page show it has people you might actually recognise in some of the roles other than the hero(ine). One of the jokes in the trailer even managed to make me chuckle.

The Boy In The Dress aired here on Boxing Day on TV, adapted from the book by David Walliams. I don't like a lot of what he does, but this was heartfelt, if daft.

Well, the news was pretty mixed around New Year. The first equal marriages in my home country, then the widely-reported death of a TG teen. I hope the year doesn't stay like this.
