Tonight I'll be a housewife

Not my prettiest dress, but it will do as I cook and clean.

Start of the working week... dressing as a secretary.

I think I'll spend every evening this week properly dressed. Putting on some things I don't wear so often. Right now I'm in a skirt suit. I can't quite fasten the jacket, alas.

It's the end of a... political week. I think we've all earned a little girly time.

Spent the day wearing something pretty. I think I've earned it.

Seeing someone else in the mirror

Sense8, a Netflix TV series from the Wachowskis, is about eight people starting to share a consciousness. From those creators I expect we'll see some discussion on gender identity. One of the eight is played by Tuppence Middleton... who I would very much like to see looking back when I look in the mirror!

There's never been an out crossdresser in Parliament. Plenty of closeted ones though! :D

Eddie Izzard has promoted Labour but he wasn't running. I'd have voted for him...

I'd only vote Tory if I got to be one of their wives. ;)

Far And Away

I'd never actually watched this 23-year-old 19th century historical romance thingy with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman (back when they were a thing) all the way through before. But I knew Nicole gets some great outfits in it...

I think I want the riding ensembles from the beginning and end most of all...

Which I did. :)

Maybe I'll sleep in a nightdress tonight.

I do love being free to dress properly.

Much as I'd like to, I really can't excuse spending X much on a few hours of secret fun. :/
