Of course, among TG fiction fans, the original Star Trek is famous for ending with "Turnabout Intruder", in which one of Kirk's exes steals his body and dumps him into hers. Sadly the status quo is restored by episode's end, so Kirk only goes where no man has gone before for half an hour or so.
