Being paid to wear retro dresses? Sounds good to me!
It's another quiet Saturday evening, watching TV and wishing I looked as glamorous as the leading lady. (Specifically, the film noir episode of Castle.)
One of the real assets of being an actress in demand, I'd say - especially in Britain where period drama is such a big thing and gets real care lavished on it.
(Around here, tv period drama is the neglected stepdaughter, most often done with unconvincing acting, halfbaked local-museum-like sets and dodgy plotting. Too bad!) ;(
