Coming soon to Netflix, the post-cyberpunk SF series about a future where consciousness can be switched through bodies as easily as clothes. It mostly addresses immortality and the distancing that can have from normal life, but the protagonist is given a new look that's a different race from birth, and of course it addresses gender... though apparently not the way the book did, which I support.
