The Edinburgh Festivals have begun, four weeks of great shows, crap shows, and of course some drag shows.
The Lady Boys Of Bangkok have been a fixture here for years, with new girls just about every year making this poor un-passing dresser jealous. I saw them out and about one year... I suspect. Certainly it was a group of rather tall Thai girls in short skirts with some slightly falsetto voices.
Not a lot of all-male as-intended Shakespeare this year, sadly.
I have never gotten up on stage in drag. That would be a workable excuse, but the opportunity has never arisen.
